The golf logix GPS provides an accurate measurement, tee to green , and valuble information on distances to sand traps, water and other hazards. A good product at a reasonable price.

After a long delay, I finally received my golflogix GPS. I spent two days trying to get the unit online. Then I called golflogix and they stated something must be wrong with the USB cord. They (Golflogix) mailed me a new one, waited seven days for this. But they were nice enough to send one. Got the new USB, the new one then worked. Registered the unit and after a total of three weeks finally got the unit on line. Once set up, it works just the way it was supposed to. Didn't need all the bells and whistles. Works well me.

I've had my GPS 8 for about a year and my advice is don't buy one. Downloading courses is painfully frustrating with frequent error messages. There are better products available. The only reason I don't rate this a one star is because it does work if I am finally able to download a course. Also, the GolfLogix mapping staff did correct their course data when I emailed them about wildly inaccurate yardages.

I have a Garmin GPS fir travel and have been very satisfied with it. I tried this Golflogix thinking that Garmin wouldn't put their name on it if it wqsn't quality. A bad mistake in judgement. I was unable to download a golf course. I contacted Garmin and they gave me instructions which were better than what came with the unit but they didn't work any better. Finally Garmin shut me off saying that they were in a busy season and would not help me. I returned the unit for a refund. The Garmin support was non-existant. I use Amazon often for they are customer oriented and never leave you in limbo.
